Our Oregon adventure started 30 years ago in our log cabin in the mountains of Norway as we were reading Mitchner's "Centennial" by the light of the fireplace.This inspired us to pursue our degrees in "the Oregon territory", at the U of O. We had soon explored most of the state as campers, skiers and hikers.
As professors, we have since lived in many places, but always returned to visit our Eugene friends.Last Fall, we decided to put down a new anchor in Oregon.We went on the net, and found a small cabin in
Sunriver.Connie Schwing was helpful and able to provide us with the
information and contacts we needed both accurately and efficiently. It took us about a month to complete the transaction - by e.mail - from Norway.We chose to place our trust in Connie and she guided us to a happy closing in December without any surprises.
Our four children each received a very popular cabin key in a Sunriver coffee cup for Christmas. We hope that everybody will be as pleased as Dad was when he saw the property for the first time on closing.
Thanks Connie - so far - very good! Now it is up to us to enjoy it as often as we can even if it is nine time zones away.

Hello Marcus, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for all your help in working with Julie and I to purchase our vacation home in Sunriver. We have purchased a few properties in the past and I have to say that this was one of the smoothest transactions we have done, even though we are all the way over in Massachusetts!
Our time in Sunriver was short and I appreciate the time you took to understand our needs and select those properties that were right to show us, you didn´t just pull out the listings book and show us anything that was available.
I also appreciate your help in giving us insight into the rental market and rental histories for different types of properties. This really helped to narrow our choices. In addition, your advice on choosing the right Mortgage, Title, home inspection and Insurance companies to work with was invaluable ? all of these companies were first class.
Finally, your willingness to help with some of the small details needed after closing: the walk through, utilities set-up and other coordination activities was a nice touch and not something I have experienced in the past it saved us a lot of time and expense.
