SUNRIVER ACTIVITIES

There's always something fun and exciting going on here in Sunriver. Residents of Sunriver enjoy unlimited access to both the North and South swimming pools, our 26 outdoor tennis courts, and over 30 miles of walking and bicycling trails that wind along the Deschutes River and throughout Sunriver. In addition to outdoor activities, there's the monthly Homeowner Potluck at the Great Hall from October to May. Residents and their family or friends partake of a delicious array of delicacies prepared by participants (everyone brings a 'dish'), enjoy social time and then are treated to live entertainment. There are a myriad of Clubs and Groups here in Sunriver that address a wide variety of interests including the Angler's Club, the Women's Club, Golf Clubs and Bridge Clubs. For a full list of all the active groups, click here.

Every summer for the last 12 years, Sunriver has hosted the Pacific Crest Sports Festival, which includes events for the serious atletes---a Half Iron-Man Triathlon, Olympic length Triathlon, Duathlon, Marathon and Half Marathon---and 5 and 10 kilometer fun run/walk events.......

The Sunriver Golf Courses and Crosswater Golf Club were again home to some great tournaments in 2008. The major championship for the Champions Tour (for golfers over 50 years old), the Jeld Wen Tradition, was held in August at Crosswater for the second year. Sunriver is ranked in the Top 50 Tennis Resorts in the nation by Tennis Magazine, and we who live here know why! We enjoy 26 well-maintained outdoor Homeowner tennis courts, and have two active programs running all summer--the Sage Springs Tennis Program and the Sunriver Homeowner Tennis Program. In addition, we enjoy lots of special events and tournaments.....
